Chapter 6: The Road Less Traveled… Trish
Trish was not having a good day. Two weeks after leaving her home, the allure of her adventure had started to fade. Trish was running low on supplies, and she only had one more clean outfit. She was already regretting her poor planning and rushed journey.
Chapter 5: Down The Rabbit Hole… Ash
Ash awoke with a start. [Falling! Wait… I’m ok? Was it all a dream?]
Even as Ash thought this he knew it wasn’t true. This was not his room in Darkwing palace, the bed was wooden with lumps in it, and the room was far too small and plain. There was a small wooden dresser in the corner, and a night table next to the bed. The whole room was only about ten paces long, and five paces wide. There was a simple wooden door at the far side of the room.

Chapter 4: A Helping Hand… Mira
“LEAVE MY COURT NOW!” Tryion roared, “I have just lost my ONLY SON! And a DRAGON LORD was responsible…”
The hall was silent, none of the nobles, clan leaders, or even the twelve dragon lords dared to speak. Mira Blackwing watched as her father leered from his throne at the dragon lords. She had never felt so afraid, of her father, of the lords, one of whom was responsible for her brother’s disappearance, and of what was to come.

Chapter 3: Dreams Are Strange Things… Trish
The Scythe cut deeply into the red dragon’s eye. Ash had won, all that was left was to push the weapon in deeper, and kill this beast.
The red dragon screamed in pain, and she saw Ash do something he had never done before, he hesitated. The dragon clawed at its ruined left eye, and Ash did nothing, it was as if he could not cope with harming another dragon.
Chapter 2: All That Work… Ash
(Wind. The sky is always so calm around the palace! Hey Shade, sure you want to join me?)
Ash flew like a creature that was born to it, which he was. In his dragon form Ash maintained his leanness but was graced with a long serpentine neck and tail covered all over in black scales with silver outlining. Silver horns in a crest at the base of the head and in triplets going down to the edge of his tail, and huge wide wings containing tints of sliver platinum combine to make a both regal and deadly visage.

Chapter 1: A Beginning To All Things… Ash
“Shade!” at the sound of her name the black catkal jumped off Ash’s shoulder toward their opponent. She flew through the thirty feet of air like an arrow, and hit the chest of the warrior with a force far greater than what any mortal creature should be capable of.
so a few things:
firstly there is no singular protagonist. this story will be told from multiple POVs so some parts will seemingly overlap, skip, or even seem unimportant. i the writer am here to say that every POV has a meaning even if it is only used once or if it seems unrelated to the main story.
[Hurry. Hurry up, faster I know I can go faster. Oh come on Ise, it’s not just your life at stake.] These were the thoughts that Ise repeated to himself over and over again.
[Damn it Ise you’ve got to go faster or the royal guard will catch us, then the whole prophecy will be ruined.]

Lore And History…
In the beginning, every race lived together in every realm. However, this was no utopia. There was war, death, and famine. The strong slew the weak, and those with power were the only ones who were safe.
